Following the Repeal of the Rental Housing Inspection Program in February 2017, the City Council directed staff to evaluate City code enforcement priorities, with a particular focus on activities that support safe housing. Going forward, code enforcement in the City will operate under a set of updated priorities (still to be established). We are holding one-on-one interviews with residents, property owners, tenants, property managers, and other interested stakeholders to gain feedback that will inform these updated priorities.

Interviews will be held between May 22, 2017, and June 2, 2017.

Interviews can be scheduled at https://www.slocity.org/government/department-directory/community-development/planning-zoning/zoning-regulations-update/code-enforcement-priorities
